The Russell Rose Garden is the oldest garden in the Nevada County.

A beautiful setting for outdoor gatherings from weddings to garden parties, the rose garden is home to over 100 antique and modern roses. It is divided by hedgerows and lawns. The planting beds contain a large collection of spring bulbs, perennials and specimen flowering shrubs. There are memorial statues and benches shaded by a beautiful collection of mature flowering trees. The picturesque garden is enclosed with wrought-iron fencing and a charming, aged brick wall.

The walled rose garden is romantic and private, which makes for an ideal wedding venue.

The historic rose garden has over 200 rose bushes, some over 100 years old. There are crepe myrtle trees, old holly trees, a rare white pomegranate tree, yew and other old fashioned garden favorites. Occupancy 250.
