The Grass Valley Museum & Cultural Center’s buildings are recognized for having historic value of both state and national importance. The Grass Valley Museum is a historical showcase for the town and for women’s history.

Mount St. Mary’s Historical Preservation Committee (DBA Grass Valley Museum & Cultural Center) is a 501 (c) 3 nonsectarian cultural, historical and educational organization. Its mission is to preserve and maintain the historic buildings and gardens and to encourage their use in order to advance their historical and cultural importance in our community.
