St. Joseph’s Hall, built in 1894, is a large room (approx. 30,000 sq. feet). The walls are covered with original antique raised tin work in a motif of arches and flowers. 

The majestic Hall’s features include an oak hardwood floor, a beautiful stained glass window, a cathedral ceiling; colored glass windows, a stage, stage lightning, a P.A. system, heating and air conditioning. A dressing and a small kitchen are on either side backstage. This historic Hall, possessing a wonderful aura, is the perfect place to hold a memorable wedding or reception.

The garden is huge, divided into four parts by hedgerows in the form of the Celtic harp. There are statues; a fountain and a sundial. Rose bushes are everywhere; in full bloom in late May and early June. In late August and September the Crepe Myrtle trees are in bloom and form a canopy over the stairs to the Hall. There are other flowering plants and trees and at least a dozen species of roses. Park benches are scattered throughout, and the garden is surrounded by a brick wall and black metal fencing. 

May we suggest you consider holding your wedding in the garden? There are several locations for intimacy; surrounded by green hedges and flowering plants. For larger weddings we suggest a totally different experience; get married on the landing of the grand staircase; look into the trees, be closer to the sky, while your guests look up and have unobstructed views of the ceremony. After the ceremony take photographs anywhere you want, wander through the garden to the stairs that will bring you into an already totally decorated and perfectly set up reception in the Hall. Enjoy your most memorable day in one place with two totally and distinct locations.

Ask about our special wedding package that includes practice and set up the night before, all we have to offer you - which may not be all you need (we have 220 chairs and an assortment of tables), set up the morning of, the wedding in the garden, the reception in the Hall and clean up the next day. This is almost three full days (Friday night, all day/night Saturday and half of Sunday) for one reasonable price compared to other venues.
